Seminary Professor - Mozambique

You will find students hungry to learn more about God's Word and how to use it effectively. Professors at Maputo Biblical and Theological Seminary (MBTS) have the unique opportunity to help develop leaders who will impact the church in Mozambique and Southern Africa.

Responsibilities 

• Teach, supervise student research and writing, recruit, advise and mentor students outside the classroom
• Assisting in creating a dynamic environment for theological education
• Assist in developing curriculum and furthering the academic goals of MBTS

Requirements

• Master's degree required; Ph.D. (preferred)
• Experience teaching Bible and/or theology in an academic setting preferred
• Cross-cultural experience and vocational ministry experience
• Must be a Portuguese speaker
• Flexibility, enthusiasm and passion for theological education

This is a support-based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
