Compassionate Ministry Facilitator - Mexico

The MEFI ministry works with homeless youth in Mexico City. A compassionate ministry specialist will join MEFI in sharing the love of God to these young people and help them to leave the streets. This includes working to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, and vocational needs of homeless youth. MEFI is looking for individuals who are passionate about ministering to the rejected and outcast members of society.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Street outreach and relationship building
• Spiritual counseling and discipleship
• Community integration plans
• Community engagement plans
• Participating in giving Bible studies and other spiritual formation activities

Skill Requirements

• Compassion and empathy for homeless youth
• Ability to develop cultural awareness
• Strong communication skills
• Team collaboration
• Ability to assess needs

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in homeless work or mental health support ministry preferred
• Mission experience and/or cross-cultural experience a plus

This is a support based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
